All You Should Know About Pregnancy
According to recent surveys, it is found that every 3 in 100 women get pregnant with twins. About a generation or two ago, this number was less than one. Why is twin pregnancy on the rise? There are several reasons for it. In older women, within the age group of 30 to 40 years, the hormonal changes cause hyper ovulation, which greatly increase the chances of twins or triplets. Today, more and more women are delaying their pregnancy; some are going for fertility drugs while others use in-vitro fertilization. All these factors have significantly attributed to the rise in twin pregnancy.
Twin pregnancy is not a worrisome issue. All that has to be learnt is how to tackle double childbirth rather than a single one, what are the possible medical complications associated with it, etc. This article carries all the basic information regarding twin pregnancy.
